New Features: Pre and Post Surveys & More

Explore the new features that have recently been implemented in RAT:

Pre and Post Surveys

From now on, it is possible to create pre and post surveys for the assessment interface. For example, you can collect demographic data before evaluating search results or AI responses. Or you can define post surveys to inquire about participants’ usage of search engines and AI tools, for example. Additionally, you can also determine a study description or introduction and a completion text to create a holistic questionnaire within RAT.

New Human Assessment Configuration

Previously, it was only possible to limit the number of search results evaluated in the human assessment settings. Now, it can also be done by limiting the number of search queries evaluated.

New Scraping Setting

The RAT browser extension now allows you to choose between scraping the number of search engine result pages (SERPs) or organic results; in other words, you can now specify that you only want the first SERP, for example, instead of the first 10 search results. We have also improved the capture of AI overviews and their formatting.
